I bought a Roku 4K streamer

The Roku Channel is the only place I could find that has the old Raymond Burr show "Ironside" from the late 60s/70s. Buying the streamer was certainly a lot cheaper than buying the DVD set so $30 later here we are.

I've got to be honest that my expectations were pretty minimal. I expected it to be like the streaming/app support built into my LG TV which is terribly slow. It's not bad to use with respect to the features but the slowness makes it pretty much unusable to me.

I was shocked at how good the Roku device is. I've got an Apple TV which, while very fast, has suffered in the usability department over the years in my opinion. The Roku feels just as quick and I think they've done a far better job than Apple at making a user interface that works the way I want it to. The integration of multiple apps is superior in my mind. The fact that it includes the Apple TV+ app and the ability to AirPlay to it killed the Apple TV.
